At BSCA we try to reach the young people of Bishops Stortford aged 11 to 18.

We meet twice a week – Friday night and Sunday morning.

Our youth activities provide an opportunity for youngsters from age 11 and upwards to get together with their friends and have fun in a safe environment. It's also an opportunity to explore just what a Christian is.

Camp Reunion 2007

The evening kicks off with a 20-minute Bible based session especially geared to young people and the issues they face every day.

The rest of the evening is given over to different activities including, pool, table tennis, volleyball and various ‘table games’.

We also have craft events, usually geared towards special events like Mothers Day, Easter and Christmas. Occasionally we go to special events run by other church youth groups to encourage friendships.

Sometimes we will meet at one of the leader’s homes to have an evening of relaxed fun and chat. Light refreshments are provided for all who come.

Football, rounders, cricket and country walks are the activities during the summer if the weather is fine.

Friday Schedule

We usually have a relaxed time table of out door activities during the early summer period. These include walks, rounders, football and cricket.

 If the weather is poor we will meet at the Christian Centre in Hockerill.

Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings we meet at 11.00 at Hillmead School where we join the main congregation for a time of led worship until 11.20 when the youth groups move to their own Bible based teaching and study time led by the youth leaders.
